The out of box "name" field in the Opportunity entity is one of those primary attributes that can be both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it’s great because it allows users to give their own meaningful name to an opportunity for future reference. On the other, it's a nightmare because there is no consistency to the format and users hate to fill in required data that may be abstract or unknown.
What's New in Dynamics CRM 2013 Featured
Well, it's finally here! Dynamics CRM 2013 has been officially released and is now available for both online and on-premise clients. This is a major release with lots of changes. In fact there are way too many new things to cover in one or even two blog posts. So, in deference to brevity I'll provide some details on a few of my most favorite new capabilities in Dynamics CRM 2013.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is right around the corner!
Good news for Dynamics CRM 2011 users, Update Rollup 15 (UR15) will be released soon. This Update Rollup includes many CRM for Outlook Client improvements that are a result of the work being done in CRM 2013. So, current (on-premise) customers can benefit from performance and stability improvements that have been made for the new release.
